Attic apartments and penthouses are not the same thing. Attic apartments are typically located on the top floor of a building and may have slanted ceilings due to the roof structure. On the other hand, penthouses are luxurious apartments located on the top floor of a building and often have exclusive amenities, such as private terraces or rooftop access. While both may be on the top floor, the term "penthouse" generally implies a higher level of luxury and exclusivity compared to attic apartments. **

The telephones used for speaking in apartments are commonly referred to as "intercoms" or "apartment intercom systems." These devices allow residents to communicate with visitors at the building's entrance and grant them access if necessary. Intercoms are a convenient and secure way for apartment dwellers to manage access to their building. **

Finally, housing cooperatives may also consider the specific housing needs of applicants, such as family size or accessibility requirements, when allocating apartments. **

Social housing apartments are allocated to individuals with a WBS (Waiting List for Social Housing) certificate based on their level of need and eligibility. The allocation process takes into consideration factors such as household size, income, and specific needs, with priority given to those in the greatest need. Once an individual is allocated a social housing apartment, they are required to sign a tenancy agreement and pay rent based on their income. **
